Your family holidays at Cairns will be more delightful as the beautiful city happily celebrates three days of colourful fun family entertainment at Cairns Show 2011. We at the Cairns City Apartments invites everyone to take part on the highly anticipated event of the season.
The first Cairns Show began in 1891 and has since provided locals and tourists with an array of spectacular events that will surely keep everyone entertained. Cairns Show will be taking place on 20-22 July 2011 at the vast Cairns Show Ground nearby our Cairns luxury apartments. Guests will definitely have loads of fun at the biggest regional show in the Australia that will feature exciting events, programs, competitions and exhibits that everyone can take part on.
Feast your eyes on the wonderful novelties that are on display at the Cairns Show exhibit section where you’ll find varieties of unique items and home made food products from different local businesses. Moreover, the Cairns Show will also feature exciting competitions. Visitors at our serviced apartments in Cairns can marvel at the biggest fruits and vegetables that are showcased at the Garden Produce Open. You’ll enjoy watching the fastest loggers as they slice through huge timbers at the Chainsaw Competition. Beautiful ladies can also join in and compete at this year’s Cairns’ Miss Show Girl. Children can also participate in several contests such as the Scarecrow Making Competition, Science and Technology Display, and the Giant Pumpkin Competition.
