The Cairns Blues Festival is on its way, and this May’s event looks sure to be the biggest yet. The festival takes place in beautiful Fogarty Park, not far from our Cairns holiday apartments and its eclectic mix of Australian and international blues, folk, hillbilly and gospel music brings thousands of music fans into the heart of Cairns each year.

A passionate group of local music lovers are responsible for the festival program which will feature over 12 hours of live music from world class bands and artists over one day. The music will take place on a specially erected outdoor stage in the park, along with several bars and market stalls selling tempting food and drink.

With the scenic Cairns Esplanade as a backdrop, almost guaranteed sunshine and a line-up that includes Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges, Flamin’ Cane Toads and Andrea Marr, having the Blues in Cairns is sure to give you something to smile about!
