Cairns in the Wet Season - a great place to be!!!
The "wet season" in Cairns is from November to April and during this time you can expect rain on a regular basis and relatively high humidity, but Cairns is still a fantastic place to be with all tour operators running daily tours to all of Cairns best destinations such as the Reef, Daintree Rainforest and Skyrail - its not called the RAINforest for nothing and the Daintree and Cape Tribulation Rainforest truly comes alive during the wet and is absolutely amazing! It is also a great time for White Water Rafting with river levels at their peak and offering the best rapids and a great rafting experience.
