Flynn Reef

One of the most popular reef dive sites in Cairns, encompassing well known diving spots like Tracy’s Bommie, the Coral Gardens and Gordon’s Mooring. You can expect to see huge schools of Clark’s anemone fish, bumphead parrotfish and reef sharks gliding among the rainbow coloured coral.

Milln Reef

There are regular sightings of barracudas, white tip reef sharks and parrot fish at this popular stretch of reef, which is ideal for intermediate divers. The site is just as spectacular at night, when you can expect to see painted lobsters, sleeping turtles and gorgonian fans.

Thetford reef    

This exciting dive site is home to several expansive coral bommies teeming with butterfly fish, giant clams, angelfish and damsels. Thetford reef is made up of spectacular hard and soft coral, including staghorn and plate, but access is dependent on tidal and weather conditions.
