Get ready for another spectacular event coming your way at the city of Cairns. On 13 August 2011, music fans can head on down to Fogerty Park at the Esplanade and be blown away by the awesome live performances at this year’s timeOUT Day In The Park.  

The timeOUT Day In the Park is considered to be the biggest and best rock, hip-hop and dance music festival in Far North Queensland. This huge event will feature a stellar line up of Aussie musicians from different genres. Guests at our Cairns corporate accommodation will enjoy the sights and sounds from some of the best artists in the land. From Oz rock gods to indie upstarts, hip-hop royalty to one of Triple J’s finest DJs, timeOUT Day In The Park 2011’s line up will definitely rock your sock off. The Living End, Drapht, British India, and Nina Las Vegas are just some of the talented musicians that you can catch on this year’s timeOUT.  

Aside from amazing live performances, timeOUT will also hold a number competitions such as the Battle of the Bands and Battle of the DJs which will be held prior the main event on August. Winners from both competition will get to play their set at timeOUT’s main stage.  For those who want to go behind the scenes and document the events at the upcoming timeOUT Day In The Park can also join the first ever Rock Journalists competition which is open to all aspiring local young writers. Winners will get to bring home fabulous prizes and will have a chance to take exclusive band interviews and photos.   

Its more than just a kick ass event. As a way to give back to the community, event organizers of timeOUT Day In The Park have also made a pledge to donate a percentage of every ticket sold to Yasi relief across the region.
